The journey of my life is filled with tears
I am the forgotten past that treads no future
Lonely path that I walk upon
Is filled with loneliness of a lifetime

Tell the soul where I was once paramount
Tell the heart where I used to reside
Forget the vows and break the promises
Forget the wishes of life I once envisioned

I am a story of destruction
I am the dew dismissed from among the clouds
Leave me in my misery to pay the price
The price that I will pay for a lifetime
